Wash Your Fruits and Veggies

With summer upon us, we tend to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. This is great! What's not great, however, is the bacteria that could be making a home on these tasty treats. From pesticides that could have been used and bacteria transferred from hands that have handled the produce, pathogens often abound. Rinsing with just water may not remove all the dangerous stuff. Keep your family safe by washing your fresh produce with safe and effective Basic H2.

Basic H2 is an all-purpose cleaner with countless uses. While you may not think of using an all-purpose cleaner for your fruits and veggies, H2 is different. I use it for just about everything at my house, and here are its credentials:
  • Nontoxic
  • Natural
  • Doubly concentrated
  • Biodegradable
  • No phosphates
So while you enjoy those tasty summer treats, make sure that the health really is outweighing the risks. Keep your family safe, and wash your produce with Basic H2. And hey, while you're at it, appreciate H2's other uses as well.

Add on: I forgot to mention that it's also important to wash fruits like watermelon, pineapple, and cantaloupe. Even though the outer rind is not eaten, cutting through with a knife can transfer bacteria to the edible part. Happy eating!
